Machined Brass Cage

Traditionally, bearing cages are made from steel, aluminium or polymide.
But these materials have a basic flaw: they are compromised when exposed to excessive shock loads and vibrations.

Because our cages are made from brass, they absorb impact better and are more forgiving.

This ability to absorb vibrations is a particular advantage in the fan industry. This quality also results in better fatigue property so our cages won't crack. The roller is fitted in a bored pocket which offers better roller guidance.
