About Revolvo
Revolvo, OE Bearing's principal supplier,
based in Dudley in the West Midlands of the United Kingdom,
has been manufacturing high quality rolling element
bearings since 1968 and list all the major bearing companies
as customers.
Revolvo was initially set up by WYKO to manufacture
discontinued bearings which are made in small batches
as low as 1 or 2 bearings. In 1993 the Revolvo Formula
1 division was launched producing high quality, high
precision bearings for all formula 1 teams except Ferrari
and Sauber. These precision production methods coupled
with the limited production runs was ideally suited
to the manufacture of split bearings which are not made
in large volumes.
Until 1994 Cooper Split bearings held a monopoly of
the world market prior to the development of SRB product.
This in view the SRB Split Bearing Brand, a division
of Revolvo, was developed by Klaus Berteld the retired
Managing Director of Cooper Germany who had more than
40 years experience in the split bearing Industry. The
SRB product was extensively tested at Leeds University
and went into full production in 1997.
Today Revolvo has a modern, well equipped manufacturing
plant, producing high quality rolling element bearings.
As an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, excellence in
design & manufacturing is their guiding principle.
There has been a high level of investment in cellular
manufacturing, including the latest state of the art
CNC machining centres.
Bearing production is separated into cellular based
product groups, which enhances their service capability
by reducing manufacturing lead times, whilst optimising
manufacturing standards and responsiveness. Revolvo
has the process capability of manufacturing bearings
with a maximum outside diameter of 1500 mm. Bearing
housings up to a maximum outside diameter of 1800 mm
can be accommodated
